Feminist Groups Project Access Hollywood Trump Video On Big Screen/ Protest At White House

UltraViolet protests, video on large screen, and protesters

On the one-year anniversary of the release of the Access Hollywood video of Trump and Billy Bush, a feminist movement called UltraViolet is playing the footage on a loop all day, right by the Washington Monument – on a giant screen. Their hashtag: #WeGrabBack

On this same day, the Trump administration has rolled back birth control coverage for women’s health care. The President of NARA Pro-Choice America, Ilyse Hogue, remarked, “Was the plan to take away birth control on the anniversary of Access Hollywood tape release to underscore how creepy DJT is? #handsoffmyBC”

“Politicians can’t say they support survivors of sexual assault AND block access to Planned Parenthood.” said protester, Sage Marti.

UltraViolet members are also protesting the oppressive systems of white supremacy and patriarchy in front of the White House:

One protester remarked, “Donald Trump has admitted to sexually assaulting women. This is unacceptable & he must be held accountable.”

SiriusXM Programming Director, Zerlina Maxwell‏ Tweeted, “Trump made it okay for men to harass women in public and his supporters enabled and normalized the behavior by voting for him anyway.

Another tape of Trump has recently come to light, in which Trump talks about the time he was disgusted and turned away from an elderly man who fell at Mar-a-Lago. It’s just more evidence that Trump lacks any empathy or compassion for people in general.

See the Access Hollywood video below. It bears repeating that Trump’s words are not merely “locker room banter” as was his excuse. This is a man bragging about sexual assault and should have prevented any rational, empathetic person from voting for Trump.
