NRA Channels ISIS Threat Videos Against The New York Times

The National Rifle Association (NRA) has issued a warning to the New York Times, namely their journalists. This NRA threat can be taken many ways such as terroristic threats, intent to harm or kill, attempted assault even. Either way, they’re breaking the law by threatening people and the Trump administration is doing nothing to stop them.

‘We’re Coming For You’

The group has released another terrifying and questionable recruitment video. “We’re going to laser-focus on your so-called ‘honest pursuit of truth.’ In short, we’re coming for you,” NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch says in the video. “Consider this a shot across your proverbial brow.” Did you just literally threaten to shoot NY Times journalists? Pretty sure you just threatened to shoot them. Loesch then went on to call the newspaper an “untrustworthy, dishonest rag” which promotes “propaganda” and “fake news.” If this doesn’t anger you with how someone can this vile and stupid, then you must be a hard nut to crack.

Twitter Explosion

The Twitter battle ensued after the video was posted. Loesch claims to say “fisk, ” but Twitter doesn’t see it that way. The tweeters are convinced she said “fist” and quite frankly, we agree. Many tweets are hilariously quoting her for wanting to “fist the New York Times.” Her hashtag #ClenchedFistOfTruth also didn’t help the situation for her, but it did for us.

It’s in your flipping hashtag lady, get your drool cup and stop spewing your fake news.  Loesch also completely scoffed at the idea that the video is a direct threat against the journalists. In a tweet, she said anyone who sees the video as a call to arms is projecting “their violent fantasies on to others” and said her message references “the battlefield of ideas.” Sure it does, in your world. This isn’t the first time the NRA has threatened a newspaper since last month they attacked the Washington Post.
