Breaking news from the White House: Sean Spicer has just resigned from his position as the White House press secretary.
You’re Outta Here!
The New York Times was on the ball this morning in reporting Spicer’s resignation. Spicer’s reasoning for his resignation comes after the appointment of Anthony Scaramucci as communications director. Spicer vehemently disagreed with the decision and has now resigned because of it. Trump has offered Saramucci the job at 10 am this morning and asked Spicer to stay on. Spicer then told Trump he believed the appointment was a major mistake. This all comes from a person with direct knowledge of the conversation.
Spicer has been completely under fire for his recent decisions in the first place due to the lack of press briefings. When those briefings were held the press was not allowed to record any visual or audio of the briefing. All in all, we’re glad to see you go, Sean. We won’t miss you. Now just to get the rest of them out of America’s house.
