Even overseas Trump can’t seem to stop attacking the media. During a stop in Poland Thursday, Trump once again attacked “fake news” CNN.
Fake News For A Long Time
During a press conference in Warsaw, Trump was asked about the accusations that CNN blackmailed the Reddit user who photoshopped the WWE video. CNN has pushed back the reports saying they never blackmailed the user, but Trump had this to say about the subject:
“They have been fake news for a long time. They’ve been covering me in a very dishonest way…What CNN, and others, NBC is equally is bad, despite the fact that I made them a fortune with ‘The Apprentice’ but they forgot that.”
Trump said.
He also added that what CNN did was “unfortunate for them” and they’ve “really taken it too seriously, and I think they’ve hurt themselves very badly.” He then went on to say about America needs an “honest” press,
“What we want to see in the United States is honest, beautiful, free, but honest press. We want to see fair press, I think it’s a very important thing. We don’t want fake news. And by the way, not everybody is fake news. But we don’t want fake news. Bad thing. Very bad for our country.”
Joe Scarborough of MSNBC’s Morning Joe tweeted this morning in response to Trump’s conference:
If you're just waking up, the president is on foreign soil attacking US intelligence patriots, the American free press & former presidents. pic.twitter.com/5AXyjwT7ag

He also attacked former President Obama, fully admitting there was Russian interference in the 2016 election and why the former president did nothing to stop it.
Watch: Trump is asked if he believes Russia interfered in our election, instead attacks Obama and the media. https://t.co/IrfviRPwru
