Trump Gets Dragged For Unpresidential Attack On Comey

Former FBI Director James Comey’s book is not even officially on sale yet, but President Donald Trump is already launching vicious attacks on him over some of the excerpts that have already dropped.

There were at least three takeaways from Comey’s book A Higher Loyalty that Trump would throw a temper tantrum over.

Perhaps the biggest one revolves around the so-called pee-pee tape in which Trump allegedly paid Russian prostitutes to urinate on him in a Moscow hotel room.

Apparently, Trump was more upset about the suggestion that he needs to pay for sex than he was about the tape’s possible existence. According to Comey, Trump:

“…Strongly denied the allegations, asking — rhetorically, I assumed — whether he seemed like a guy who needed the service of prostitutes.”

Comey also called Trump’s behavior:

“…Disturbing and violating basic norms of ethical leadership.”

It also appears that many of Comey’s conversations that he described in his book can be corroborated by others, which means we can look forward to more testimony in Congress.

Trump was not happy about these tidbits from Comey’s book, and he lashed out on Twitter in the most undignified way possible on Friday morning.

Twitter was not amused by Trump’s hissy fit.

It is beneath the presidency for a president to call a longtime public servant like Comey a “slimeball.” And the harder Trump attacks, the more truthful Comey looks. Trump is a proven liar who has told over 2,000 lies since taking office.

Also, it probably was not a good idea for Trump to attack a friend of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. That’s just going to make Mueller angry and more dedicated than ever to investigate the hell out of Trump. And we all know that Mueller’s investigation has produced results so far, including the recent FBI raid on Trump attorney Michael Cohen.

Needless to say, Trump is having one hell of a Stormy week. And Comey gets to sit back and laugh as Trump keeps shooting himself in the foot.
