The Wall Street Journal broke an interesting story this afternoon. It is all about President Donald Trump, a gorgeous blond, an extra-marital affair, hush money, and non-disclosure agreements. Or it could just be something to deflect our attention away from Trump’s disparaging remarks about all the people from “sh**hole” countries.

Distraction Headlines have Worked for Trump is the Past

Whatever the reasoning behind why this is being made public right now, it still bears looking into. According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen secretly arranged to pay off a porn star. The “hush money” amounted to a total of $130,000 and was paid in October 2016. It was to ensure that Stephanie Clifford maintained the provisions of the non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Clifford is better known by her screen name, Stormy Daniels. She met Trump in 2006 at a Nevada golf championship. The two allegedly had a sexual encounter. Clifford was 27 years old. Trump was 60 years old.

Looking at the Timeline

Putting things into perspective. Trump married Melania in May of 2005. Approximately six months into the marriage, Melania became pregnant with Barron. The baby was born in March of 2006. Melania would have spent the majority of 2006 either pregnant or caring for newborn Barron.

If this affair took place during 2006, Donald Trump was stepping out on the mother of his fifth child while she was at home taking care of the newborn baby. No wonder he wanted this kept quiet. At the time, Clifford “…was one of the most popular adult actresses in the country when she met Mr. Trump…”

Denials All Around

The White House (of course) is denying the reports. Cohen didn’t respond to requests for a statement about the pay off, but a  did say:

President Trump once again vehemently denies any such occurrence as has Ms. Daniels. his is now the second time that you are raising outlandish allegations against my client. You have attempted to perpetuate this false narrative for over a year; a narrative that has been consistently denied by all parties since at least 2011.

A White House spokesperson stated:

These are old, recycled reports, which were published and strongly denied prior to the election.

Cohen supplied The Wall Street Journal with a statement signed by “Stormy Daniels.” The statement denies that she had “sexual and/or romantic affair” with Trump. Prior to all of this surfacing during the campaign in 2016, Clifford had been in talks with ABC’s “Good Morning America.” She was quickly paid off and made to sign the NDA guaranteeing her silence on the matter. Arrangements for the payment and signing of the NDA were made through Clifford’s attorney, Keith Davidson. He declined to comment at the time of this report.

All the Women Are Lying — Only Trump is Being Truthful

Also on the news during that period right before the November 2016 election was the report that Trump had kissed adult film star Jessica Drake against her will. That attack happened around the same time frame in 2006, in Nevada. The White House, as with all the other reports, dismisses the report by Drake. Trump and his minions have labeled all the women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexual assault, misconduct, or inappropriate behavior as liars.

Everyone on the planet is lying except Donald Trump. We all believe that, don’t we?

Are the results of his medical exam out yet?
