Republicans on Capitol Hill have continued to work on a replacement for the Affordable Care Act, the Obama-era law which GOPs argue is costly and complicated.
President Trump has not backed a GOP replacement measure, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan were hoping to convince Trump to support it today.
President Trump dismissed the latest poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation 48 percent of people view the ObamaCare favorably.
“There’s nothing to love,” said President Trump. “It’s a disaster, folks.”
Trump announced ObamaCare’s repeal and replacement gives states flexibility “to make the end result really, really good for them … We have come up with a solution that’s really, really good I think. Very good.”
