Trump Administration Goes Mafia: Threatens Alaska

This threatening of people is getting very old; after all the Mafia honestly does it better. The Trump administration decided they’re going to threaten Alaska after voting against the health care bill.

Don’t Ever Take Sides Against the Family

And that’s exactly what Sen. Lisa Murkowski did on Tuesday. Murkowski voted against seeing the health care bill to the Senate floor, and she’s against it altogether. On Wednesday, both Alaskan senators got a phone call from Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, and the message wasn’t very nice. Sen. Dan Sullivan called the message “troubling.”

“I’m not going into the details, but I fear that the strong economic growth, pro-energy, pro-mining, pro-jobs and personnel from Alaska who are part of those policies are going to stop,” Sullivan said. He also said that he tried to “push back on behalf of all Alaskans.” “We’re facing some difficult times and there’s a lot of enthusiasm for the policies that Secretary Zinke and the president have been talking about with regard to our economy. But the message was pretty clear,” He added.

Trump Also Targets Murkowski

Trump, in his usual Twitler fashion, tweeted out against Murkowski’s decision.

Murkowski said on Wednesday that she is in her position to govern and legislate and that every day shouldn’t be about “campaigning” and “winning elections.” Oh boy we like her! After all, pretty sure it’s not the Senate or House’s job to always agree with the president. That would be a monarchy.
