Trump has officially gone off the deep end and it’s infuriating Americans. He’s made it his mission to un-do everything former President Barack Obama has done and this latest move is beyond below the belt. Trump has issued a transgender ban for the military.
Trump Bans Transgenders
Trump has officially stated he will ban transgenders from serving in the U.S. military in any capacity. This means anyone who is transgender cannot have a federal government position with the military, civilian or not. Trump stated that the military cannot afford a “disruption” in a barrage of tweets Wednesday morning.

My IQ has now dropped about 100 points and on top of it, this is the most disgusting display of power and stupidity I’ve ever seen in my life. This violates privacy on so many levels, since what are you gonna do Trump? Check everyone’s pants before they can enlist?
This decision has come one day before the deadline for the military to update their medical standards to accommodate transgendered service members.
According to General Mattis, the Secretary of Defense, transgendered people affect the “lethality” and “the ability of America’s military to defend the nation.” Pretty sure a person’s genitalia doesn’t affect the ability to defend America! It does NOT matter what you have down below or how you feel on the inside when everyone who enters the military knows the risks and WANT to defend life, liberty, and justice!
LGBT Community Reactions Are Not Pleasant
Thousands of troops in the military have come out as transgender and as much as 11,000 are in the reserves and active duty according to a Rand Corp. study. Mika Brzezinski found a tweet from June where Trump had the gall to tweet the following statement out,

Are you high, or are you just that ignorant? The only one threatening freedoms is you.
Richard Socarides, a longtime gay rights advocate who also advised Bill Clinton on LGBT citizens serving in the military, called Trump’s decision “a tragic betrayal of all LGBT Americans and a shameful effort to win over social conservatives at the expense of the vulnerable.”
“But, what Trump will now learn: Don’t mess with us,” Socarides said. “This gets him a fight he will not win.”
Trump’s announcement comes two weeks after the House rejected an amendment to the annual defense policy bill that would have blocked the Pentagon from offering gender transition to active duty service members. 24 Republicans joined all 190 Democrats to reject the amendment.
You’ve just dug your grave, Trump. You made your bed and pissed off millions of Americans, and now you’ll lie in it.
