VIDEO! White House Bans Major News Networks from Briefing

This is unprecedented in history.

CNN, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and Politico and other news organizations were blocked Friday from a White House press briefing.

With no immediate explanation from the White House, the implications of this could be President Trump not just complaining of the press but squashing hand-picked media outlets.

This may be a minor step that could be troubling.

He is taking a step in the direction of barring journalists from covering events.

The media is not standing for it.

The President will not allow into this gaggle which is a less formal than a televised Q and A. That said, according to Sunshine Laws, the political discussions behind closed doors must disclosed.

President Trump has insisted that the “fake news is the enemy of the state.”

Is he implying with this ban that The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and Politico are part of the “fake news” coverage?

Is President Trump upset because according to the law, as long as three sources come together to bring a story to light, that sources may remain anonymous.

He’s a full access public figure.

Only conservative media organizations Breitbart News, The Washington Times and One America News Network were permitted in the meeting.
