White House To The Rescue: W.H. Defends Trump’s Vulgar Tweets Aimed at Mika Brzezinski

Donald Trump

On Thursday, if you missed the fire, President Donald Trump viciously attacked MSNBC journalist Mika Brzezinski in a flurry of deeply misogynistic tweets:

WH Deputy Press Secretary Defends Trump

The American public was shocked, and lawmakers on both sides of the aisle denounced the attack. The media largely debunked Trump’s false claims that the news channel had poor ratings when it had reported record ratings over the last nine consecutive months.

Plus, Trump never refused to talk with Mika and Joe at Mar-a-Lago. There are photographs showing them socializing, and no photo ever showed Mika bleeding or being bandaged after surgery.

Deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was invited to Fox News to defend the president’s morally indefensible remarks. She tried to portray Trump as a victim who defended himself in the face of an “outrageous number of personal attacks” on him and his aides.

People on that show have personally attacked me many times. This is a president who fights fire with fire,

Sanders told Fox News.

Trump Looked Unpresidential

Trump’s spokeswoman even praised him for not allowing the liberal media and elites including those in Hollywood to “bully” him. Sanders’ defense of Trump was met with skepticism even by host Bill Hemmer. He couldn’t help but wonder if the personal attacks were really “necessary.”

Sanders replied with a pre-arranged talking point, but she proved that she failed to understand that there’s a huge difference between a personal attack conducted by TV personalities and an attack carried out by the president of the United States. It did not look presidential and embarrassed America in the eyes of the world. Plus, since Trump had time to take to Twitter and write such horrendous tweets demonstrates that he is not 100% focused on his job as he should be.
